Netherlands Antilles
The Netherlands Antilles were previously known as the Netherlands West Indies or Dutch Antilles/West Indies. It's part of the Lesser Antilles and contains two groups of island in the Caribbean Sea. One group is Curacao and Bonaire and the other group is Sint Eustatius, Saba and Sint Maarten. The island are located in one of the most beautiful places in the world and are very popular by tourists. Cruise ships are often seen as well as many divers who want to explore the great world under the surface. Also for relaxing and enjoying the sun on the white beaches the Netherlands Antilles are a great destination.

Willemstad Willemstad is the capital of the Netherlands Antilles and located on the island Curacao. The island exists of two parts: Punda and Otrobanda and they are seperated by the St. Anna Bay. In the city live about 125.000 people and the most famous sight are the colorful houses beside the bay. |
